PREPARE TO PLUNDER AND ROCK: ROCKSTOCK BRINGS PIRATES AND VIKINGS TO HAURAKI!
HAURAKI, NEW ZEALAND — Grab your cutlasses, polish your battle axes, and prepare for the heaviest, most action-packed family friendly day out of the year! Rockstock is storming into the Thames War Memorial Centre on Saturday, 10 October, bringing the ultimate Pirates and Vikings Tribute Party to the Hauraki.
From 11:00 am to 10:00 pm, the venue will be transformed into a battleground of epic music, incredible ink, and fierce competition. This is a family-friendly festival where attendees of all ages are encouraged to embrace the theme, dress up, and unleash their inner marauder.
Headlining the chaos is the unstoppable force of KAOSIS, leading an absolutely massive lineup of world-class tribute acts honoring the gods of rock and metal. Prepare to headbang to the anthems of NIRVANA. NO DOUBT. GREENDAY. FOO FIGHTERS. ALANIS MORISSETTE. PARAMORE. JANIS JOPLIN. THE PRODIGY. ALICE IN CHAINS. OFFSPRING. JOAN JETT. FATBOY SLIM. CHEMICAL BROTHERS., and more! Plus, the day kicks off with killer original support acts setting the stage on fire.
But Rockstock isn’t just about the music—it’s a full sensory assault. The festival features a tattooing zone where you can get inked on-site by some of the country's finest artists. The legendary roster includes Cheyne Tweeddale (Undertongue Tattoo), Phoenix Rose (Exquisite Ink) and more!

The day is packed with wild competitions including Best Dressed Adult, Best Dressed Under 18, Best Dressed Under 10, Best Dressed Family, the legendary Mum of the Year, the Daughter and Dad Dance, the infamous Hot Dog Eating contest, and awards for Best Tattoo and Tattoo of the Day.
